Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Scoreboard at checkscoreboard.com ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. We may update these terms from time to time, and your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Description of Service

Scoreboard is a free web application that allows users to track game sessions for poker, mahjong, board games, and other activities. The Service includes features such as session logging, player statistics, group management, and optional SMS notifications. Scoreboard is provided free of charge with no paid plans.

Account Responsibilities

When you create an account on Scoreboard, you are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintaining the security and confidentiality of your login credentials
  • All activity that occurs under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account and use the Service.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

If you enable public sharing for a group, you acknowledge that the group's data will be accessible to anyone with the link.

Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, features, and branding, is owned by Scoreboard and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Service. These terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or other brand features.

Service Availability

We strive to keep Scoreboard available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time with reasonable notice when possible.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Scoreboard shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claims related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to use the Service (which is zero, as the Service is free).

Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or engage in behavior that is harmful to other users or the Service.

Upon termination, your right to access the Service will cease. We may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
